Task Clock

A project that grew from an attempt at self-care into general care, the task clock is a response to the general stress and anxiety around the organising and keeping track of daily to-do tasks.
Tasks are written down on tokens, and then hung on the clock with a wind chime. The clock slowly lowers the tasks over the day as the tasks are due, while gently chiming the wind chimes.
The clock limits you to four daily tasks, dividing the day into manageable quarters. Tasks no longer have strict deadlines, only slowly growing in visual and auditory presence throughout the day.
A big emphasis on this project was to create not only a cohesive design, but also to create a functional model. This allowed for a more thorough validation of the design outcome, and also to make sure the design can be physically created.
